Hello! Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our desire to bring a child into our lives. We’re writing this letter to give you an idea of who we are and what kind of life we can provide for a child. We know that you want to be comfortable in placing your child with the right couple, and we appreciate the amount of strength and courage it takes to consider adoption. As you learn a little bit more about ho we are, we hope that you will consider us as adoptive parents for your baby.

More About Us
We met in 2002 while we were working together. We became friends quickly, as we found we had many of the same interests. Everyone around us said that we would make a great couple, and eventually we realized that as well. In August of 2006 we were married in a beautiful ceremony in front of family and friends. We have had so many wonderful experiences, and now are hoping adoption will bring us the joy of having a child.
Our Home
Our house is a happy home that that is perfect for a family. We live in a 4 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood in the suburbs outside of Sacramento. Driving distance to skiing and to the beach, we feel we have found the ideal place to raise a family. Plenty of room for a growing family, and within walking distance of several parks and local schools. We are also lucky enough
to live within a short distance of our families, who play a vital role in our lives. Our two cats, Venus and Zoe, can usually be found lying in a sunny window, playing around or cuddling each other on a cozy chair or blanket. They are both very people‐friendly, and will enjoy having a new family member in the house! We also have a beautiful Koi pond in the backyard. We also grow fruit and vegetables in the backyard such as blueberries, raspberries, peaches and tomatoes.

About Zak
Zak was born and raised in western New York and
moved to California when he was 24. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Physical Therapy
from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York.
He works as a physical therapist primarily with elderly patients. When he was younger, his grandfather taught him how to play the piano. Zak likes to play the guitar, exercise at the gym, and work outdoors. He also enjoys watching movies and sports.
We both enjoy traveling. We have traveled to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, the Bahamas, and of course Zak’s home state of New York. We both enjoy spending time with family, having BBQ’s with family and friends, and an occasional game of tennis. Both our families and friends are very excited about welcoming an adopted baby into our lives.
