This letter is to give you an idea of who we are and what kind of life we can provide for a child. We know that you want to be comfortable in placing your child with the right couple, and we appreciate the amount of strength and courage it takes to consider adoption. When we learned we could not have biological children, we did not hesitate to start our adoption journey. John & AlexAlex and I have been together for over 20 years and happily married since 1996. When we decided it was time to start a family greater than us and our dog, we thought it would happen in the traditional way. For us, however, the traditional way didn’t work. While those efforts and the lack of success were difficult, we were fortunate in that we remained open to, and actively made it know to those around us, that we would like to adopt a child. As fate would have it, on the same day that we were advised we would not be able to have a biological child, we learned about an opportunity to adopt a child!
