Christon & Jeremy

Dear Birth Mother,
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to feel comfortable in calling us your friends. We realize this is an important life changing decision you are making for you and your baby, and we appreciate you taking the time to get to know us. We have been happily married for nine years. After six years of undergoing tests and unsuccessful infertility treatments in our hopes of having children, we realize that God intends for us to adopt. Throughout this whole experience it not only has drawn us closer as husband and wife, but built our relationship with God in allowing Him to show us His desire.

About Us
We were both raised on country farms, Christon in North Dakota helping her dad, mom, and brothers with their buffalo and farm ranch, and Jeremy in Central California working in the family business, custom hay hauling for local farmers. Our paths crossed when our parents (life long friends) introduced us. Communication began with lots of emails, soon followed by Christon moving to California to become a Physical Therapist Assistant…and be closer to Jeremy. We married in March of 2003 and our love for each other grows every day.

More About Us
Our marriage is based on a firm belief in Jesus. We know that in order for us to have a good relationship we must have unconditional love for one another giving us the desire to have open communication. Our parents have been great examples in showing us how to love, and we will not only teach our children this, but be an example for them. We believe that we should not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk. After marriage Christon become a Physical Therapist Assistant and started working in Los Banos for an outpatient therapy facility. She loves her job because everyday brings new experiences and allows her to help others regain their quality of life. Jeremy runs the day to day operation of the family business as he and his dad work closely for its continued success. Jeremy enjoys his job because it gives him the opportunity to work outdoors and also use his Business Management degree.

We are very close to our families because they are important to us. With both of our parents living within 5 miles of us it’s not that uncommon to find us just hanging out with our parents and siblings, especially on a Saturday night. Games, food, and laughter are a staple in our gatherings. We are blessed to be able to see them on a regular basis.

We are the youngest of our siblings, Jeremy having an older sister and Christon having two older brothers. We are grateful to be living out in the country and soon plan to build on our 11 acre property. It’s a great place to be because it will allow us to raise our family in a peaceful environment. Besides our love for each other, we also have a love for our dogs. They love kids and enjoy playing with our nieces. We enjoy nature hikes, bike rides, boating, and family trips that involve horseback riding in the mountains.

Not only do we love the outdoors and being involvedwith nature, we also love being involved in our Church and Church School. We are very active in theweekly worship service and enjoy sharing with others the talents God has given us. We are both involved in the worship music team, Christon playing the piano and Jeremy the guitar as well as leading out vocally. We also help out with teaching the children’s classes, Christon with cradle roll and Jeremy with Juniors. On occasion we will also lead out in bible studies.

Christon is not only the love of my life; she is also my best friend. Being by her side as she has gone through many tests and miscarriages and seeing her strength through it all, has drawn me that much  closer to her.

She not only gives me words of encouragement when I need them, but also a listening ear when I can use a friend to talk to. She is honest, intelligent, kind, and loving. She is always there to help those in need and asks for nothing in return. Christon has the desire in her heart to be a mother and the natural instincts that come along with it. She loves children and children love her. Whenever I see her look at a baby I can see the hurt in her eyes because of that huge missing part in her life…being a mother and sharing her love with her children.

Christon has been raised with great Christian moral values. She is calm under pressure and always puts others first - when her nieces want her to play with them, she never says no. The highest quality I see in Christon is her ability to be true to who she is, and my highest quality was to notice that and to marry her. The one thing that would please my heart the most would be to see my wife have her dream come true - to be a mother. She loves to give of herself, whether it giving of her talents at Church, or using her knowledge from her career to help her family members who need physical therapy relief. I look forward to the day when I see my wife hold our child in her arms. She will be a loving, thoughtful, and caring mother.

Jeremy is a person that is able to make friends and get along with many types of people. His interaction with family and friends is a joy to watch and there are many times when I sit back and fall in love with him all over again and realize how blessed I am to have him as my husband. I long to be able to give him a child and it breaks my heart that I am not able to. I know God has a child that is waiting for us to love, and I can’t wait to meet him or her and begin a wonderful new journey together as a family.

Jeremy is the love of my life that God has sent and blessed me with. He has a heart that is so giving and
loving that allows him to comfort and support me when I need it. He never lets a day go by withoutshowing his love for me through his words and affection. He knows how to make a marriage work.The years of growing closer to each other have shown me that he would make a wonderful and strong leader in his own family. Jeremy is a man of many talents. He is smart and motivated which has allowed him build a strong work ethic, but of all his qualities the one that got my heart is his humor and his ability to make me laugh. He is able to make any stressful or difficult situation a much lighter load.

I know his heart desires and longs to have children. As I see how his nieces and our friends’ children fall in love with wrestling and playing with him, I long for the day when it can be our own children. I see how unselfish he is with our own relationship and how he wants to give to others. He is generous with his time and talents through dedicating many hours to our church school as Treasurer and being on the Church and School Boards. He is a man of God and I know he will raise our children to not only be leaders, but also loving and humble.
